Cardano (ADA) also entered from the borders of Japan!

Japan-based cryptocurrency exchange Bitpoint has announced that it will list Cardano. Experts state that this move for Japan is as important as listing a cryptocurrency on the Coinbase exchange.

Japanese cryptocurrency exchange Bitpoint has announced that it will list ADA towards the end of August. Sebastien Guillemot, the co-founder of blockchain firm dcSpark, who was one of the first to report on the subject, also said the following about the importance of this listing:

Cardano is finally listed in Japan. Japan’s cryptocurrency exchanges have very strict rules for listings. A very small number of tokens can be listed and ADA is now on one of these exchanges. It’s like Coinbase listing any coin. It’s that important to the Japanese community.

Purchased from non-Japanese exchanges

As it will be remembered, Grayscale, which is stated to be the largest digital fund manager in the world, added Cardano to its Grayscale funds about a month ago. On the other hand, Japanese crypto investors were able to trade ADA through exchanges that were not based in Japan but were operating in the country.

Currently trading around $1.30, ADA surpassed $1 in February for the first time since the bull run in 2018. The market value of ADA, which is currently the 5th largest cryptocurrency, is approximately $41 billion.
